Is there still a place for a bible-believing church in the modern world?

We think so. In fact, we think that bible-believing churches will play a central role in the preservation of God’s world while we await that day when we see Him face to face! If this claim resonates with you, or even if you think it might be an important thing to investigate, we invite you to join us for worship or some other ministry event here at Trinity Church in Kirkwood.

Trinity began in 2006 with a small collection of people who wanted to start a church that would be true to the Bible, culturally relevant, and rooted in long-standing Christian tradition. On top of this, the desire was to be an intergenerational community that loves its neighbors as a “not for ourselves” congregation (2 Corinthians 4:5).

In 2010 we were blessed to find our current facility, which at the time was a broken-down, abandoned mess. Because we believe in a God who redeems, we were eager to restore the glorious ruin of an old elementary school and make it a place that glowed with grace and goodness. The building, in a small way, reflects what we believe God does for us as His people. Every person is created in God’s image and were originally blessed with a certain kind of God-given dignity. However, sin and brokenness entered the world and from that time forward have damaged everything, including our relationship with God.

The good news is that because of what Jesus did in His life, death, and resurrection, God’s grace can come in and restore all the broken places, even us, if we place our faith in Christ alone!

This is the vision that we deeply embrace — to be restored restorers who long to both love God and love our neighbors.

We’d love to have you visit with us!

Rev. Dr. Chris Polski, Lead Pastor

Frequently Asked Questions:

What should I wear?

People wear a wide range of clothing to Trinity, so come in whatever you feel comfortable wearing.

Where do I park?

As you come onto our property, follow the drive around to the back to find the parking lot. There is also parking on the East side of the church.

What should I expect in the worship service?

On Sunday we gather to worship God through singing, prayer, giving, listening, sacraments, and serving. Musically, we seek to sing songs that are both rooted in the history of the church, showing we are connected to the story of God’s people, and new songs that display that God is still at work and giving us a new song to sing. Feel free to participate as you feel comfortable.

Where does my child go on a Sunday?

If you want to keep your child with you through the service, that’s totally fine. Please do know, however, that we offer nursery through the whole Sunday morning for ages 6 weeks-3 years. We also have a children’s worship time during the sermon for ages 4 years-2nd grade.

Will there be food?

We have a fellowship time (10:45-11am) between our worship service and classes where we serve coffee, tea, and snacks.

Allergies?

Trinity Church is committed to actively pursuing a nut-free environment but cannot guarantee that the building is always 100% free from any nut products or from products that may have been cross- contaminated by nuts. For this reason we urge any families with children who have allergies and any friends of these families to exercise vigilance when consuming any food products in the church building.
