About Trinity Church

Our Denomination

Our Purpose

Trinity Church is a faith community that exists to exalt God’s name, establish God’s people, equip God’s church, and engage God’s world in the power of the Holy Spirit and for the sake of the Risen King, Jesus Christ.

Trinity is…

  1. Expositional Preaching: A church that values preaching that expounds God’s word and is closely connected to the text of scripture.
  2. Ancient-Future Worship: A church that values historical worship, freshly expressed, that is, worship that makes good use of long established and traditional elements of worship but is not shy about incorporating new expressions of these older forms, especially in the area of music.
  3. Intergenerational Ministry Approach: A church that values generational balance and intergenerational discipleship and interaction.
  4. Equipping for Gospel Engagement in Existing Life Contexts: A church that values equipping its people to make the most of every opportunity in the places they are already active, to engage unbelievers, both apologetically and evangelistically.

For what we proclaim is not ourselves but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.” — 2 Corinthians 4:5

Our Beliefs

Trinity Church holds to the historic beliefs of the Reformation as articulated in the Westminster Confession of Faith.

  • Among the most important convictions of the Reformed Tradition are the distinctives known as the “sola’s.” Sola Scriptura (Scripture Alone), Sola Fide (Faith Alone), Sola Gratia (Grace Alone), Solus Christus (Christ Alone) and Soli Deo Gloria (The Glory of God Alone).
  • Our desire is to live out these beliefs with lives of worship, service and love.
  • Newcomers are not expected to understand or adhere to these beliefs, but are welcome to join with us in a committed, heartfelt exploration of the truth of God’s inspired, inerrant and authoritative word, the scriptures of the Old and New Testament, as we seek His truth together.
  • Our prayer is that each person would come to faith in Christ Jesus through the wondrous words of the gospel.
