“Ponder anew” is a phrase that comes from the hymn “Praise to the Lord, the Almighty,” which was written by Joachim Neander in the 17th century. In this context, “ponder anew” means to reflect or consider once again but with a sense of wonder and amazement. It encourages believers to contemplate the greatness and power of God, and to marvel at His actions and attributes. Music and art inspire us to do just this.
Our concert series this year invites you to “ponder anew” as you take in the beauty of diverse music and art. Our hope is that each concert and event invite a renewed sense of awe and appreciation for God’s work in us and in the world around us. These events are meant to be a blessing to many, so we invite you, your family, and others in the community to ponder anew the goodness of God through the gift of music and art.

Indelible Grace, Hymns & Stories Tour
Saturday, November 8, 6:30 pm
Indelible Grace Music grew out of ministering to college students, primarily through Reformed University Fellowship (RUF). As students began to taste more of the depth of the gospel and the richness of the hymn tradition, many began to join the music of their culture with the words of our forefathers (and mothers!) and a movement was born. The Indelible Grace Hymns and Stories Tour features Kevin Twit, the founder of Indelible Grace Music, and his son, Cooper. The evening will include singing well-known Indelible Grace hymns and sharing the stories behind them. This will be an unforgettable evening that you won’t want to miss! Purchase your tickets here.

We’re excited to welcome back the Ariel Concert Series Players who share the beauty of classical music as a counterpoint in a stressful world. As members of the SLSO, these musicians strive to share high quality classical music with all in the St. Louis community. Their music is beautiful and refreshing.
